URGENT:Petition Effort for Christians in Turkey Ending August 15!

This is a reminder that we are finishing our petition drive on behalf of the three Turkish Christians who were brutally tortured in April 2007 in one week. We have been getting a great response, so if you have already signed the petition, thank you!
If you haven’t signed the petition, please do so now on our website by clicking here.On May 21, 2007, a US Congressman introduced a resolution to express sympathy for the families of the three martyrs.Incredibly, 32 other Congressional Representatives signed onto the resolution. The believers in Turkey have said that the church in Turkey would be incredibly encouraged if the US government were to at least express sympathy for these martyrs. However, the resolution in question has been stalled because certain members of Congress are more worried about Turkey's feelings than about denouncing evil. There is still time to sign this petition and to also print out the sign-up sheets included as the second page of the attachment from the website and encourage other Christians you know to stand with the persecuted believers in Turkey by signing in one of the spaces provided. Then fax or mail us those signatures by August 15.
Our fax number is 301-989-1709, and our address is:
International Christian Concern
PO Box 10277
Silver Spring, MD 20914-0277
Together we can make a difference and lift up our hurting brothers and sisters in Turkey.
Sincerely in Christ,
Jeff King President, ICC
PS - If you have any trouble signing the petition through our website, please send us your name and address in an email to icc@persecution.org with the subject “Sign Turkey Petition,” and we will make sure your name is included.
As in the days of Noah...
